Saturday is the Boston Pride parade — a glitter-filled festivity that marches from the South End down to City Hall Plaza in a celebration of all things LGBT. After the parade, I will be marching right over to the Pride Block Party. DJs, dancing and drinking right in the heart of Back Bay. It’s great energy and hopefully doesn’t get rained out!

I must give a shout out to the Rooftop @ Revere, the new rooftop bar and lounge outside the hotel’s indoor swimming pool. Rooftop @ Revere is opening to the public on weekends, beginning at 11 a.m., for $30 per person. It’s a day of sunning, sipping and swimming right in the center of city. Think chaise lounge chairs, frozen cocktails and mini lobster rolls. Or you can rally a group of friends and rent out a cabana. Plus, you can check out pieces from art collective, The iNDiViDUALS, which was curated by Lot F Gallery. The Postal Service is an electronic indie rock group that makes some pretty amazing music. They took a musical break, so this is a reunion tour — or a chance to familiarize yourself with them if you aren’t already a fan. The Pavilion also happens to be my favorite venue in the city. An outdoor venue, right on the water, near plenty of surrounding bars and restaurants in the seaport where you can grab a pre- or post-show drink and dinner. Fun Fact: Jenny Lewis will be performing.
