Catherine Greig, thelongtime girlfriend of notorious Boston mobsterJames “Whitey” Bulger, is expected to plead guilty to one charge of criminal contempt for refusing to testify before a grand jury in connection to Bulger’s case, according to reports. RELATED:Girlfriend of Boston mobster ‘Whitey’ Bulger indicted Greig is currently serving eight years in prison for her connection to Bulger. The two fled Boston in 1999 after Bulger was indicted for murder.
In 2011, the FBI captured Greig and Bulger in Santa Monica, California.
