Another game, another viewership record.

Game 6 between the Bruins and Lightning earned a 16.14 household rating on Versus last night, the highest ever in Boston for an NHL game on the network.

And yes, in case you were wondering, the B’s did outdraw American Idol. Between 8 and 10:15 p.m., the game averaged a 16.8, ahead of Idol’s 15.4.
