Canucks fans banded together last night at Library Square for the Canucks Tweetup to watch Vancouver beat the L.A. Kings 6-4 in Game 4.
Tickets were given away for tomorrow’s Game 5 at GM Place, as were other prizes during the game, including signed sticks and apparel. Roughly 150 people showed up for the first Tweetup of the playoffs.
Denise Guerrero, who went to Game 1 against the St. Louis Blues last year won the tickets and was extremely excited.
Radio personality Scott Rintoul hosted the event and said Canucks fans will continue to make the event grow.
“The people who went seem to be pretty passionate Canucks fans,” Rintoul said. “They think ‘I’m going to watch the game tonight, now I have somewhere to watch it with a community of people who feel the same way about the team that I do.”
