Celtics drop second straight with loss to Bulls

The Celtics lost their second straight and fifth in their last six with a 94-82 loss Thursday night in Chicago against the Bulls. With the loss the C's are now 13-19 overall and 5-10 away from home.

Turnovers were the downfall for the Celtics as they turned the ball over 20 times in the loss. The C's trailed by four at the half, but couldn't put together a second half comeback. Jordan Crawford led the visitors with 22 points and seven assists. Jared Sullinger and Jeff Green finished with 11 points apiece in the loss.

The Bulls had six players reach double-figures, led byJoakim Noah who had a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds.

The Celtics will return to action Friday night (7:30, CSNNE) back at the TD Garden against the New Orleans Pelicans.

What they'll be saying: The C's will be at somewhat of a disadvantage against New Orleansas they will have to travel on the day of the game instead of the night prior due to the snow situation in Boston. The Pelicans are already in Boston in preparation for Friday night's matchup.The Pelicans sit at14-16 on the season.
