Real snow is in the forecast for this weekend, but we’ve been burned before. Whether or not it snows — or rains, or it gets up to 60 degrees again — Winter Jam returns to Central Park on Saturday for seasonal sports and fun. A team of snowmakers from Gore Mountain will blanket a football field-sized area at the Bandshell to create zones for snowboarding, skiing, snowshoeing and kicksledding. Entry, equipment rentals and lessons are free for all ages, just bring an ID to sign a waiver. RELATED: $3 movies and fancy eats at Bushwick’s new theater Syndicated For those just out to enjoy the snow, there will be an area for sledding and snowman-building. Duck inside the heated Taste NY tent to browse a market of goodies from around the state and cider by Breezy Hill Orchards, or grab lunch from one of the on-site food trucks: Nuchas empanadas, Los Viajeros tacos and The Crepes Truck.
