Charges in Lansdowne glass death

A South Boston man was indicted on manslaughter charges Wednesday for an August incident at The Lansdowne pub in which Michael DiMaria was killed by a flying shard of glass.

Hector Guardiola, 25, faces one count of manslaughter and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon after allegedly throwing a beer mug during an argument.

Guardiola, who was held on $100,000 bail, is expected to be arraigned Nov. 10 in Suffolk Superior Court.
