An NYPD traffic enforcement agent was arrested and charged with rape, according to police.
25-year-old Charles Taylor was taken into custody in the 84th Precinct last night around 11:55 pm. A 17-year-old girl is Taylor’s accuser, according to the NYPD.
He is currently suspended without pay.
Other NYPD officers accused of rape in the past include Arthur Roldan, Michael Pena, Kenneth Moreno and Franklin Mata.
