The Obamas are staying in Washington, D.C. after the president is finished his term in office — and plan on settling not far from the Oval Office.

According a new report released by Politico, the first family has leased an 8,200-square-foot mansion with nine bedrooms, eight-and-a-half bathrooms, a two-car garage and a gated courtyard area that can hold eight to 10 additional vehicles.

The home sits on about a quarter acre of land and is located in the Kalorama neighborhood of Washington, D.C., just two miles away from the White House.

Bill Clinton’s former White House press secretary Joe Lockhart and his wife, Washington editor of Glamour magazine Giovanna Gray, own the mansion.
