Chick-fil-A said that this will allow people to get their order within eight minutes of entering the restaurant. Like its current location at 37thStreet and Sixth Avenue, the new Chick-fil-A will donate its surplus food to New York Common Pantry, to which it has donated more than 1,500 pounds of food since the 37th Street restaurant opened in October 2015.
