Captain America continues to be the most opinionated Avenger, as Chris Evans is now weighing in on another national controversy via his Twitter account.

The Marvel movie star took to his social media page on Wedneday to call out Sports Illustrated for its latest cover, which tackles the ongoing national anthem protests by athletes. While the image features everyone from NBA superstar LeBron James to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, activist and former San Fransisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick – who started the kneeling protests – is curiously absent from the photo.

“Where is Kaepernick?” Evans wrote in a retweet of the cover, accompanied by the acronym for “shaking my head.”

Evans, an avid Patriots fan, has spent the last few days sharing his thoughts on the current feud between President Donald Trump and the world of sports.

The actor retweeted a video of Spurs coach Gregg Popovich and others who offered support to the national anthem protests. Evans also couldn’t resist calling out critics of athletes who’ve decided to take a knee.

Of course, this isn’t the first time that Evans has used his platform to speak out on an issue. The “Captain America” star has previously tackled subjects such as the current health care and DACA debates, and even called Trump a “reckless moron” for seemingly encouraging more police violence.
