King, makers of Candy Crush Saga, surveyed city dwellers about trading greenery for concrete, tied to the game company’s app Farm Heroes Saga. Over 2,000 people in the U.S. were part of the survey, carried out by Censuswide last month.

94 percent of respondents thought there should be more community gardens, city farms and rooftop gardens in cities and urban areas, with four out of five saying it would give people a natural environment to escape to, when they don’t have time to physically leave the city.

55 percent said spending time outdoors would make them happier, while 43 percent felt that more opportunity to see animals or wildlife would also make them happier.

60 percent would like to spend more time outdoors, and 44 percent would garden if they had more time available to relax.

40 percent would like to grow their own herbs, fruits and vegetables, either at home or in an allotment, in order to eat more healthily.
