Tomorrow and Thursday at city hall and the Canadian War Museum, the city is organizing a symposium on the design of the new urban park at Lansdowne Park.
The event serves to inform the five design teams selected to compete for the right to plan the new open space at Lansdowne Park. It will include a tour of Lansdowne and its surrounding neighbourhoods.
The teams will also hear from consultants who have been conducting research on various aspects of the renewal project.
The symposium is also an opportunity for city residents to learn about the design teams and their projects, and to tell the teams what they think should happen in the new park.
