City receiving $13M for tourism from province

The province has announced more than $13 million in support for tourism in Ottawa to help attract more visitors, investment and economic activity.

Ontario is providing $13,299,000 over the next two years to help tourism partners develop a new regional tourism organization and enhance destination marketing and management.

“This will help spur increased economic activity, investments, and development in our community, which means more support for local jobs and businesses,” said Ottawa West-Nepean MPP Bob Chiarelli.
