The Emmy award’s pre-show celebrations always feature plenty of stars, gowns, smiling faces and of course drama. This year’s Pre-Emmy party did not disappoint in the drama category. Tom Arnold and Mark Burnett reportedly got into an altercation at the bash that ended in violence and plenty of accusations. Here is what we know so far.
Tom Arnold fights with Mark Burnett
Tom Arnold, who has been working on a show documenting his search for Trump tapes during his time on The Apprentice, got into a scuffle with former Apprentice producer Mark Burnett. Arnold’s show (The Hunt for the Trump Tapes )is an eight-episode series about his search for incriminating tapes on President Donald Trump and includes interviews with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Penn Jillette, Judd Apatow and Rosie O’Donnell and former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci. Arnold has been going after the Burnett and urges the successful producer to show the incriminating Trump tapes that allegedly have Trump using the N-word several times.
“I am going to keep hammering Mark Burnett until he shows America [the tapes],” Arnold said at the Television Critics Association’s Summer Press Tour in July. “He sits next to Donald Trump and gives him cover and he never says one word. People are at the border. They are getting their kids snatched from them. It’s cruel… and Mark Burnett says he’s a Christian.”
Roma Downey accuses Tom Arnold of violence
Mark Burnett’s wife tweeted a picture of her hand with a visible bruise and an accusation that Arnold had “ambushed” her and her husband at a charity event. “Got this bruise tonight when Tom Arnold tried to ambush my husband Mark and me at a charity event. Is your TV show worth it Tom? Please stop,” she posted. Arnold responded to the tweet that he is filing a police report and “suing you for defamation.”

Tom Arnold tweets about the incident
An eyewitness of the fight says that Arnold could be heard challenging Burnett regarding the outtakes of The Apprentice. Arnold tweeted the details about the incident and then later said that Academy Award-winning documentary filmmaker Bryan Fogel was with him during the scuffle and “has tape.”
