The second phase of the city’s curbside composting program — to vastly expand the food waste that people could dump into their yard trimmings bin — could begin as soon as October, according to city documents. If approved by council, the first stage would be a 4,000-home trial in October in eight different areas of Vancouver.
It would rollout across the city in 2011.
