A suspect has been arrested in connection with the death of a 23-year-old woman early Saturday morning.
A 19-year-old Edmonton woman was arrested early Sunday morning and is facing several charges. She remains in police custody.
The name of the accused and charges will be released after the autopsy, which is set for this afternoon.
At approximately 2:30 a.m. on July 31, police received a report of an injured woman at 145 Avenue and 52 Street. Investigations later revealed that an altercation between two women resulted in the victim being stabbed. She died in hospital later that morning.
