Cops need help tracking down 3 ‘persons of interest’ in fatal Bronx shooting

Authorities on Monday were asking for the public’s help in tracking down three men in connection to Sunday’s fatal shooting of a man in the Bronx.

A still unidentified deli clerk from the Trio Deli on in Fordham Heights died after police said one gunman shot him in the torso at around 10:20 a.m.

Investigators said they believe the shooter had earlier gotten into an argument with the clerk and left only to return to the store on Jerome Avenue with the gun.

The clerk died at St. Barnabas Hospital shortly thereafter.

Police released photos of the three men wanted for questioning, all described as Hispanic men in their 20s.

NYPD also released video surveillance of a gray Chrysler sedan they believe the men were driving near the scene.
