A Taco Bell employee was arrested by police after he allegedly shot and pistol whipped an angry patron with a BB gun.

Steven Noska, 26, of Springfield, was charged with crimes including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, according to Springfield police.

Springfield police said officers were called to a Taco Bell at 4 a.m. on Sunday for a report of a hold up alarm. However, when officers arrived they found a 26-year-old man banging on the door of the eatery.

The man told officers he was the victim and was angry because he went to the drive-thru to order food but no one would assist him even after banging on the window. The victim then told officers he went to the door of the eatery, which was locked and started to bang on it to get someone’s attention. The eatery was open at the time.

An employee, Noska, eventually came to the door and a fight between the men started. Noska then went to his car and got a BB gun, police said. The victim told police Noska shot him several times and then hit him with the gun before going back inside the store.

That’s when the police were called. Springfield police also said that several people in the area recorded the incident on their phones.

When police were booking Noska, they noticed bite marks on his arm caused by the victim during the fight. Police did not say if the victim will face charges.
