Dad charged with manslaughter in baby’s death

Police have laid manslaughter charges against the father of a two-month-old boy who died in hospital in August.

Bryson Dorey-Fox died two days after his mother took him into the hospital on Aug. 1, and police were called in to investigate at that time. Autopsy results showed the toddler died from blunt force trauma.

Staff Sgt. Doug Andrus of the homicide unit called the investigation complex and emotional.

Jamie Allen Dorey, 29, is in police custody. The case is before the courts.
