Police officers were looking for an armed robber and a trio of would-be robbers over the weekend in Dartmouth.
Halifax Regional Police said the first incident happened at 2:50 a.m. Saturday when a white male carrying a knife stole a wallet and cell phone from a 24-year-old woman on Farrell Street.
The suspect, described to police as a white male with dirty blond hair, hopped a fence and ran away.
Police said the second incident happened just after 11 p.m. Saturday on the 400 block of Windmill Road, where three male suspects demanded a 51-year-old man hand over his wallet. But the victim refused and was pushed to the ground by the suspects, who took off in a small two-door black car, empty-handed.
