Canada has two chances at redemption on Day 12 when our ski cross and ice hockey teams try to rebound after a not-so-super Sunday.
Ashleigh McIvor races in ski cross at 2 p.m., two days after Chris Del Bosco fell out of the podium in the men’s final.
At 4:30 p.m. the Canadian men’s hockey team plays Germany for the right to face Russia in the quarterfinals. Vancouver Canucks goalie Roberto Luongo will start.
Also at 4:30 p.m., figure skater Joannie Rochette is set to compete in the women’s short program. This will be an emotional attempt as the Quebec skater’s mother died of a heart attack on Sunday at age 55.
