Dems urge Mangano to drop suit

MINEOLA – At a press conference yesterday, irate Democrats insisted that Nassau County
Executive Edward Mangano drop his lawsuit against the Nassau Interim Finance Committee.

Nassau Democrats believe that the lawsuit that seeks to block the state watchdog committee’s takeover of the county’s budget will drive down confidence in Nassau County and will result in lengthy litigation.
