Kate Hudson revealed in April that she and boyfriend Danny Fujikawa were expecting a daughter together after over a year of publicly dating. But, did Kate Hudson have her baby yet?

Hudson, 39, gave birth to a baby girl, Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa, on October 2.
This is Hudson’s third child.
“She’s here,” Hudson wrote on Instagram. “We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa. Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honor. Everyone is doing well and happy as can be. Our family thanks you for all the love and blessings that have been sent our way and we send ours right back.”
The actress and Fabletics cofounder has two sons: 14-year-old Ryder, whom she had with ex-husband Chris Robinson, and 7-year-old Bingham, whom she had with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy.
Hudson told Allure upon her 2014 breakup with Bellamy, “We create the experiences that we want to have. If you want to create the painful experience, you can do that. You have the power to make [any] situation a painful or a difficult one. I want to try to create experiences that will be positive for my kids.”
Hudson first announced her pregnancy news with Fujikawa by posting a gender reveal video in April.
“SURPRISE!!! If you’ve wondered why I’ve been so absent on my social channels it’s because I have never been more sick!” Hudson wrote on Instagram.
“We have been trying to keep this pregnancy under the radar for as long as possible but I’m a poppin now!” she added. “And it’s too darn challenging to hide, and frankly hiding is more exhausting then just coming out with it! My kids, Danny, myself and the entire family are crazy excited! A little girl on the way.”
Hudson has known Fujikawa, a musician, for over 15 years — he’s the stepbrother of her best friends. The two made their red carpet debut in May 2017 at the premiere of Goldie Hawn’s film entitled, “Snatched.”
“I’ve known his family forever…” Hudson said of Fujikawa on The Talk back in December. “To have that connection is really powerful.”
So, did Kate Hudson have her baby? You bet. She and Fujikawa have welcomed a daughter into the world. And, if Rani’s anything like her mother, she’ll be fun, fierce and unapologetically fabulous.
