A Pakistani diplomat’s son has been charged after allegedly having sex with a 13-year-old girl and sexually abusing her friend, also 13, in a Bronx motel room.
Mehmood Rahimoon, 20, reportedly met a girl on social media before arranging a room at The Riveroad Motel on Dec. 1 for himself, her and her friend, sources said in a New York Post article, which added that, during their encounter, Rahimoon allegedly had sex with the girl while her friend waited in the bathroom.
Prosecutors also claim that Rahimoon allegedly forced the friend to touch his private parts, the New York Daily News reported, adding that the friend told her father what had transpired, which in turn led to the police being alerted to the incident and a subsequent investigation, authorities have stated.
As part of that investigation, cops arranged a meeting with Rahimoon on Dec. 8, during which he was arrested and charged, the Post reported.
Rahimoon does not have diplomatic immunity, and he allegedly made a full confession, prosecutors said to the Daily News, which added that he was charged with raping a minor, sex abuse, sexual misconduct and endangering the welfare of a child.
Muhammad Rahimoon, the suspect’s father, is listed on his Facebook page as a community and welfare counselor for the Pakistani government, the Daily News added.
“It’s a shock. I knew nothing of this,” Muhammad Rahimoon was quoted by the Daily News. “This is all fabricated. My son is a good person.”
A person at the Pakistani consulate declined to comment, the Post reported.
