A Dorchester man was arrested Monday, two days after his estranged wife was found stabbed to death in her Stoughton home.

Willie Foster, 47, was captured around 7:15 a.m. by Boston Police, Commissioner Ed Davis told the Boston Globe.

A spokesman for the Norfolk District Attorney’s office said Foster was due to be arraigned on murder charges Monday afternoon.

A warrant for Foster’s arrest was issued after Stoughton Police found the body of 46-year-old Anita Clark on Saturday night.

Officers went to Clark’s home on Glen Echo Boulevard after friends called police, concerned that the woman had missed several days of work.

Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey said Clark appeared to have been stabbed. Her body was discovered in a bedroom closet and the room showed signs of a struggle.

Clark and Foster have two children, ages 6 and 15.
