Dorchester woman arrested for selling drugs on Red Line

MBTA Transit Police arrested a Dorchester woman over the weekend for allegedly selling prescription drugs on a Red Line train.

Rebecca Donahue, 42, was arrested Saturday afternoon after she allegedly accepted money in exchange for Klonopins as the train was stopped at JFK/UMass station.

Her alleged customer, 30-year-old Michael King, was also arrested at the scene. The duo is due in Dorchester District Court Monday.

Transit Police wrote on their blog, “We believe drug related activity on the MBTA harms the quality of life for MBTA patrons and employees. If you have information regarding drug and/or criminal activity on the MBTA and would like to pass along that information but wish to remain anonymous, you can text your tip to 873873.
