Finding bar deals in Manhattan can be a frustrating venture, especially on weekends. But there are gems out there seven days a week for the budget-minded. This weekend, explore a few of these bars and go home with money in your pocket.

Fontana’s Bar
105 Eldridge St.

From 2-8 p.m. every day, enjoy $3 drafts and $4 vodka and gin drinks. If that’s not enough, they also serve $5 wine and Bloody Marys. The $6 lager-and-shot special rounds out the discounted drinking menu. To go with the daily drink specials isno-cover live music as well. Plan dinner among the sea of Chinatown restaurants in the area,then make this your late-night hangout.

Snafu Bar
127 E.47th St.

Snafu gets an interesting crowd of Midtown power players and commuters during the week, and locals on weekends. Although it’s divey, the decor is inviting, with huge painted murals and exposed brick walls. Take advantage of $5 martinis and shots and $8 margaritas, Cosmos and Dark ‘n’ Stormys daily. For beer lovers, until 7 p.m. Bud Lights are only $3. There are plush couches and a fireplace in the back, or try your hand at pool downstairs.

Local 138
138 Ludlow St.

From 4-9 p.m. seven days a week, test out all the $3 drafts, wine and well drinks at Local. If you want a relaxed, unpretentious bar, this is the place for you. The bartenders are extremely friendly and happy to pour you a deal, making it the kind of place to hang out all night. If you get there early, try to snag the private small room to the right with your group for a quieter experience.
