Halifax Dunbrack Bremner’s is off to another perfect start and is riding a 26-game regular-season unbeaten streak.
The Nova Scotia Soccer League men’s premiership club improved to 6-0 on the weekend with a 4-0 win over Scotia on Friday, moving comfortably into first overall.
Although Dunbrack has fallen short in the playoffs the past two years, it hasn’t lost a regular season game since Aug. 17, 2007, including a perfect 19-0 campaign in 2008.
In women’s action, defending national champion Halifax City Pacifico earned a 2-0 win over Cape Breton United on Saturday and is atop the circuit with a 5-2 record.
