Howie Roseman has been a busy man.

Just days after shipping his starting quarterback off to the Vikings in exchange for a first and fourth round pick — anointingCarson Wentz the new starter — the Eagles made another big trade Tuesday before the regular season starts later this week.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Birds and Patriots agreed to swap cornerback Eric Rowe for offensive lineman Josh Kline.

The Eagles had a wealth of young talent at cornerback, and it was expected that they would jettison one of the members of their secondary if they could. Rowe was a second round pick last year (out of Utah)but fell behind Ron Brooks, Leodis McKelvin, Jalen Mills and Nolan Carroll on the depth chart after a lackluster summer.

The Eagles also add, according to Schefter, a fourth round draft pick in 2018, a pick that can become a third rounder based on specific conditions.

The Patriots’ former lineman Kline was an undraftedfree agent out of Kent State in 2013 and started in place of the traded Logan Mankinsintermittentlysince. He plays guard and has started at both the left and right spot and will boost the Eagles’ depth at the position with a grizzled veteran.

New England gets a talented former safety who should be a solid piece on a previously thin secondary.
