A 32-year-old computer repair shop employee was shot and killed on Monday afternoon, and police are now searching for the gunman.

Mohamed Bilal was working inside the store located at 401 New Lots Ave. in East New York about 1:30 p.m. when he was shot in the chest, police said. He was transported to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Witnesses told NBC 4 New York that the gunman, who was dressed in all black, leaned his bicycle against a fence, walked into the store, shot Bilal, ran out, got back on his bike and took off.

Bilal moved to Queens from Pakistan about three years ago and has a wife and newborn baby, NBC reported.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
