How badly do we really want a ‘Will & Grace’ reunion?

This kind of feels like nostalgia ransom. Say you really, really want to see a reunion between “Will & Grace” stars Debra Messing and Eric McCormack. Sounds great, right? But are you so eager for it that you’ll sit through an episode of “Mysteries of Laura” to see it? That’s the gamble NBC is reportedly making, as the the network has revealed that McCormack will be guest-starring on Messing’s beleaguered, poorly reviewed new series as a “roguish, arrogant-as-can-be heart surgeon” and former fiancé of Messing’s title character. Oh, and he’s a murder suspect.

Having tried to watch a few episodes of “Mysteries of Laura,” I’m wondering if maybe we should just go ahead and continue living in a world without a “Will & Grace” reunion.
