Is Mary-Kate Olsen getting ready to welcome a partner into her voluminous circle scarves?
The actress/twin/designer, 27, has been dating Olivier Sarkozy, the 44-year-old brother of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, for more than a year. Despite the 17-year age difference, the two are reportedly getting quite serious: According to Page Six, Mary-Kate was recently spotted perusing diamond engagement rings at the Neil Lane boutique in Los Angeles. Apparently, MK was drawn to platinum bands with large, cushion-cut gems, some as much as $100,000 — "I don't think price was an issue," a source said.
Well, obviously not. They are the very definition of a power couple. One of them is the scion of an immensely powerful global dynasty, and the other one is Olivier Sarkozy.
Speaking of the Olsen clan: Unlike her big sisters, Elizabeth Olsen decided to pursue acting as an adult, and it's going pretty well. She's landed a role in the upcoming "Avengers" sequel.
“I don’t think we begin shooting before March of next year. I know we’re shooting in London, that James Spader is Ultron and going to be the bad guy, and that we added Ms. [Elizabeth] Olsen, but I don’t know what she’s doing, if she’s on the inside or the outside. I haven’t seen a script,” "Avengers" star Samuel L. Jackson told the Wall Street Journal.
Jackson, who plays Nick Fury, added that Olsen will be playing Scarlet Witch.
