Interview: Aubrey Plaza and Dane DeHaan get awkward for ‘Life After Beth’

To celebrate their new horror-comedy, “Life After Beth,” we thought it would be fun to talk to stars Aubrey Plaza and Dane DeHaan about all things zombie-related. Unfortunately, Plaza and DeHaan did not agree, resulting in some stilted, awkward repartee. But hey, at least you can enjoy the uncomfortable silences.

“Life After Beth” features DeHaan as a young man confounded by his girlfriend (Plaza) returning from the dead, despite the efforts of her parents (John C. Reilly and Molly Shannon) to keep it from him. Among the few undead-revelations we could muster from the film’s stars? Zombies have “an unsatiable appetite for sex” and love smooth jazz, according to Plaza. She and DeHaan disagree on slow zombies versus fast zombies, though. But we’ll let them explain it to you:
