Most book clubs meet once a month – if that.
But author Jennifer Miller hopes to make far more than that. She is determined to set the world record for the most book club events in one month.
Miller, who just released the paperback version of “The Year of the Gadfly,” hopes to meet with 100 book clubs in July.
Calling it “The Month of the Gadfly,” she so far has 80 book clubs from 50 different cities hosting events, from libraries to bars to living rooms.
