Funny guy Ben Stiller addressed some serious health issues he faced two years ago during a recent interview on Howard Stern’s radio show.
Stiller says he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer in June of 2014. He quickly treated the disease by undergoing surgery to have his prostate removed and is now free of the disease. He is grateful that his cancer was detected early enough for treatment and urges other men to get tested at a younger age.
He also advises those who are diagnosed to avoid Googling “people who have died of prostate cancer” for obvious reasons.
