Bethenny Frankel will officially be returning to the show that made her a star. She’ll be on the seventh season of Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New York City.” Frankel left the show back in 2010 to pursue some solo career ventures, during which time she married and divorced Jason Hoppy, launched her own talk show, “Bethenny,” which was then canceled, and starred in her own spinoff reality series, “Bethenny Ever After.” And of course, launched a low calorie cocktail brand called Skinny Girl.

In an interview with Us Weekly, Frankel says, “I’m such a different person and in such a different place than when I was on first season.” One thing that isn’t different? “”Ironically, I’m never a housewife when I’m a Housewife,” she says.

The show’s executive producer, Andy Cohen, weighed in as well, calling her “one of the most popular Housewives in the history of the franchise.”

Joining her in the new season will be Carole Radziwill, Heather Thomson, Kristen Taekman, LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan. No word yet on which of those ladies she’ll be feuding with in the new season.
