Black Eyed Peas take hiatus from party-anthem aspects of brand

Freed from the burden of making music, the Peas can get back to their first love: Appearing in Target commercials.

We've got a feeling, that this is going to be some good, good news. Multimedia brand The Black Eyed Peas are going on an indefinite hiatus from music.

From the NME:

The Black Eyed Peas are going on an indefinite break from making music together.

...As the band came onstage, Fergie told the crowd that the theme park show was "very special" as it's the "last time we're going to be in England for a long time".

...She then explained that the break would be similar to their 2005 to 2009 hiatus, but allayed fears that they had split for good by concluding: "This isn't going to be the last time you'll see us."

Freed from the burden of creating music, the Peas can get back to their first love: appearing in Target commercials. As will.i.am tweeted:

The @Bep will take a break after the beginning...just like we did from monkey business to the e.n.d...but it doesn't mean we stop creating

We look forward to seeing what new set of content channels the Black Eyed brand enters in the interim.
