Blake Lively is a mom, guys

Blake Lively certainly knows how to keep things under wraps. The former “Gossip Girl” star and husband Ryan Reynolds reportedly welcomed their first child, a daughter, in December just before the New Year but managed to keep mum about it until now. The baby arrived prematurely, but both Lively and the newborn are “healthy and doing well” now, sources tell Page Six.

While no official announcement about the baby have been made, sources confirm that it is in fact a girl, though there’s some argument about the name. A tweet from an employee at the Westchester Medical Center let slip that Lively had given birth to a girl named Violet, but the post was quickly deleted and the account set to private. “Glad to have you and baby girl Violet in our care,” the original tweet read before it was replaced with, “I think I’m in trouble.”

This is the first child for Lively and Reynolds, who were married in 2012.And if previous reports are any indication, we know just how the new parents will be celebrating their arrival: “She’s saying she wants to get pregnant really soon after she pops this baby out,” a source told E! News back in October. And both Lively and Reynolds have made no secret about the fact that they want a big family. So maybe let’s give them some privacy this week?
