Burberry nets Romeo Beckham

Romeo Beckham scores his first campaign for the heritage brand.

Romeo Beckham shows that trench coats aren’t just for creepy old men as he poses in Burberry’s spring / summer’13 campaign shot by Mario Testino.

At only 10-years-old, Romeo is the ‘baby face’ of the heritage brand founded in 1856 and the latest model to join young stars, such as models Cara Delevingne and Edie Campbell and actor Eddie Redmayne.

Burberry’s chief creative officer Christopher Bailey said of the campaign: “We had such fun shooting the campaign and I think that comes through in the images which really reflect the upbeat spirit of the collection."

It’s the second outing in Burberry for Romeo: he appeared at the premiere of the Spice Girls musical Viva Forever and it’s unlikely to be his last with Bailey adding: “Romeo was a joy to work with and really stole the show.”
