Aaron Carter has a lot of thoughts about his DUI

Why is this dude even a thing, I ask?

Aaron Carter — a person most famous for a song about beating Shaq at basketball, which, nah — was arrested on DUI and marijuana charges on Saturday night. Now, he’s taken to his Twitter to complain, and it's about as coherent as you'd expect.

“Walk away from gossip and verbal defamation. Speak only the good you know of other people and encourage others to do the same,” he wrote underneath a shirtless selfie. What does that mean? Literally, I do not know.

He also tweeted, then later deleted, “To be honest, I don’t owe people explanations, although I must say, your words are powerful, the accusations of me being on heavy drugs hurts.” Well, I don’t know, stop acting like you’re on heavy drugs my dude.

He continued with his foray into semi-inspirational quotes that make no damn sense, saying “Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one’s definition of your life; define yourself.” OK, dude. We get it. You meditated once and now you think you’re some sort of guru. Keep it to yourself.

The 29-year-old finished up his late night rant with some final confusing thoughts, as one does. “As I lay restless I remember this moment that happened at Wango Tango this spring,” he wrote. “My mentor/friend Michael Jackson left this for me to have one day and many thanks to Raffles for gifting this to me at a much needed time. Looking back at my life, these words hold so much more weight today than they ever have. Thank you for all of your gifts and most importantly the gift of music and love. I miss you immensely MJ.”

OK, but for real. What is this dude even saying? Just be like, yo I got arrested and that sucks. That would be enough of a statement. Enough with this mindless ranting, my dude.
