Zamn, zaddy: Black History Month edition

February is Black History Month. It’s an annual celebration of the achievements of black Americans and African-Americans and it’s kind of shady that it’s the shortest month of the year — but we digress.

Traditionally, it is a time to wax poetic about the Harriet Tubmans and George Washington Carvers and New York from “Flavor of Love.” But this year at Metro, we’re doing something different. Instead of celebrating historical figures that fought for equality or freedom or the right to Flava Flav’s heart, we’re looking at the attractive black men that really just speak to our souls.

After all, what better way to celebrate Black History Month than to crown the finest black men around as zaddy? Sure, these guys are more than just pretty faces, but to be honest, it’s just nice to have something gorgeous to look at.

Our list of zaddies includes prolific actors, directors and comedians who have one thing in common: they are fine AF, OK? Like, really fine. Here they are, in no particular order at all. Oh, and Happy Black History Month, y’all.

Donald Glover
Multi-talented zaddy — between “Atlanta” and the musical stylings of Childish Gambino it’s just like, a lot, you know?

Common
A woke, befreckled zaddy that you could take home to your mom.

Chadwick Boseman
I once was asleep. But now, I’m awake and vibing with the “Black Panther” zaddy.

Kofi Siriboe
The “Queen Sugar” star — and grapefruiting victim in “Girls Trip” — is the youngest zaddy that ever zaddy’d and that’s a fact.

Mahershala Ali
Oscar award-winning zaddy? Um, yes please.

Ryan Coogler
Accomplished young director with pure zaddy appeal.

Mike Colter
“Luke Cage” zaddy? Yessir!

Michael Ealy
Ah, yes. Classic early aughts zaddy.

Michael B. Jordan
A zaddy with a great smile, yas! Pretty sure that “B” stands or bae, am I right ladies?

Wyatt Cenac
Local Brooklyn zaddy, for which we are thankful.
