Oh, and just so you know? This weekend, a bunch of weird news came out about Charlie Heaton, the man who actually plays Jonathan Byers and all we have to say is: Oh boy!
The 23-year-old actor — yes, he’s only 23 — was caught with cocaine in his bag at LAX on Saturday. Then, Monday morning, news came out that my dude has a whole other secret life: Heaton is someone’s father.
Apparently, Heaton and his ex-girlfriend, Akiko Matsuura, share a son together. The former couple had a baby boy in May 2014 while they were both in a rock band called Comanechi.
“Charlie became a dad when he was just 20,” a source tells Page Six. “He met Akiko when he was just a teen and fell head over heels in love. They’re no longer together but they have an amicable relationship for the boy’s sake. Right now, Charlie’s career is his priority but he hopes to see more of his son once filming commitments calm down.” LOL, this source is definitely his ol’ high school pal disguised as his publicist disguised as an anonymous source, but whatever.
One thing is for sure: Heaton sure is a busy boy.
