Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani — a perfectly fine couple that nobody in particular asked for — are still vying for your attention, even though if you’re anything like me, you keep forgetting they are a thing.
Stefani, 47, joined Shelton, 41, onstage for an intimate concert in Oklahoma over the weekend. And in between songs that I’m sure are as twangy and annoying as they are undeniably catchy, Shelton made a shocking confession! JK, it was a perfectly normal confession.
Joking about the start of his and Stefani’s relationship, the country singer explained they had “started hanging out together and messing around.” Which isn’t scandalous so much as it is like, pretty standard behavior.
But after a quick shocked look from Stefani — one that I’m sure read “Oh no, Shelton, not in front of these plebeians” — Shelton clarified. “You know, texting each other.” Wow.
In conclusion, these two are still epically boring and totally normal and snooze worthy and fine.
