Jennifer Garner is nobody's fool, knew about Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus

The actress allegedly confronted Shookus about her affair with Affleck in 2015.

Just three months after Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner filed for divorce in April, not-as-sad Batman has a new, er, Lady Robin. Last week, People reported that the 44-year-old actor and Saturday Night Live producer Lindsay Shookus are officially an item. The two were seen out on the town in LA, riding limos, eating fancy Italian dinners, and shacking up together at Affleck’s house. According to an insider, it’s more than just a summer fling.

Indeed: Apparently the two lovebirds have a bit of a history together. Multiple sources told Us Weekly that the two had an affair back in 2013, two year’s prior to Ben and Jen’s separation in 2015. (At the time, Shookus was still married to her husband Kevin Miller, also an SNL producer, whom she didn’t divorce until 2014.)

And now we’ve learned that Garner knew about their illicit history, and confronted Shookus about it back in 2015.

Apparently the “Dallas Buyers Club” actress was on a work trip and straight up asked Shookus about her canoodling with her former husband — pre-separation. The 37-year-old “refused to back down or quit the affair,” according to a source.

Garner also asked Miller about it, going so far as to show him text messages between Shookus and Affleck after gueststarring on "Late Night with Seth Meyers," where Miller is now a producer.

Garner and Affleck are reportedly on good terms, busy co-parenting their three kids Violet, Seraphina and Samuel. They were seen out with their offspring as recently as Fourth of July, when they took them to a parade in Brentwood, CA.

Clearly, one out of the two is also getting busy. When will Garner find herself a rebound? According to Just Jared, the 45-year-old actress was recently seen “stepping out” with friends, but really, she was just chatting in front of the gym. Which, sure, get that self-care and those endorphins, but also, maybe live a little?
