“mother!” mia! People confirms that Jennifer Lawrence and Darren Aronofsky are done after a year of dating. Not surprising!
Lawrence, 27 and Aronofsky, 48, started dating after wrapping “mother!” and kept their relationship under wraps throughout promoting the film. They were first spotted dining together in New York City last August, then spending time together in October in Los Angeles.
Last month, sources told Grazia that the relationship was “fizzling out fast.”
“Lots of people in Hollywood are happy that Jen has started to realize that she’s better off without him,” a source said. “It certainly wasn’t a healthy relationship at this point, and many in Hollywood were wondering what Jen was doing taking part in it all."
“Jen went from being Hollywood’s hottest young actress to becoming almost a recluse, living with Darren and collaborating on a movie that was her worst box-office result," another source added. "The odds were stacked against them: they were never going to be a golden couple of Hollywood.”
Despite appearing as somewhat of an odd match, Javier Bardem tried to explain that they totally go together and make sense.

“Creatively speaking, both are very willing to go as deep as is necessary without being contaminated by it,” he told the New York Times. “To create means to go from a place of neutrality to a place of imagination, where you build up something that didn’t exist, and then go back to neutrality. Both are able to do that, which makes the experience much more pleasant.” Sounds like nonsense!
Lawrence has previously dated the likes of “X-Men” costar Nicholas Hoult, and Chris Martin, for some reason. Aronofsky was previously in a 9-year-relationship with actress Rachel Weisz, with whom he shares a child.
Another one bites the dust! Nothing lasts forever! Relationships are like farts — if you have to force it, it’s probably s—t. And that’s about all the wisdom we can manage on this pre-Thanksgiving morning.
