Ben Affleck — a very sad Batman who is recently divorced from Jennifer Garner — quietly brought his girlfriend Lindsay Shookus as his date to the Emmys. Which is fine, or whatever!
Shookus was there because she’s a producer on “Saturday Night Live.” Affleck was there because… ol’ Shook is a producer on “Saturday Night Live,” I imagine — a show that was nominated for 22 awards. Supportive!
The couple have been publicly dating since July. But apparently, the two have a bit of history together: Multiple sources told Us Weekly in July that Affleck and Shookus had an affair in 2013, two years prior to Ben and Jen’s 2015 separation.
Affleck’s then-wife Garner allegedly confronted Shookus about canoodling with her former husband, but Shookus refused to “back down or quit the affair.” OK!
You guys look happy, I guess. So it’s chill or whatever.
