Miranda Kerr — former born again virgin — is sharing pictures from her recent wedding to Evan Spiegel, and everybody except for me is loving her, ahem, “Modern Grace Kelly” inspired look. Except Grace Kelly was an icon and Kerr is not, but OK!
Mostly, methinks Kerr wanted to show off her Dior Haute Courture gown, which sure — if I could afford a Dior gown, and also if I wanted to marry a born again virgin who hates the world so much he invented Snapchat — I too would want to show it off, you know?
“A dress that fully covers you creates a sense of purity and mystery,” Kerr said about her gown. “I’ve had a lot of fun with fashion, and I used to be more wild, free, bohemian. But in this period of my life, my style is more pulled back.”
So there you have it. Kerr — a former Victoria’s Secret model who made her living parading around in cute bras — is really committed to her new virginal, conservative brand, and she is going to politely stuff it down our throats whether we like it or not. Fantastic!
