Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen are ready for Halloween 2017.
Proving that the Patriots power couple is down with millennial food trends, the Super Bowl-winning quarterback revealed in a Monday morning radio interview with WEEI that the duo will go trick-or-treating as avocado and toast this year.
"I think we're some type of avocado and toast," Brady said. "I don't know which one. My wife bought the costume."
We're guessing Amazon was out of avocado ice cream costumes.
The Halloween reveal came after an interesting and humorous press conference following Sunday's win against the Chargers. Patriots safety Devin McCourty joked to the media that they had to be fast because "Tom said he's got to pick up a Halloween costume."
At the time, Brady wouldn't tell the press in attendance what his costume would be in an effort to remain anonymous while trick-or-treating in his neighborhood.
"I think my wife picked something out, so I don’t want to give it away," Brady said. "They’ll find me in my neighborhood. It will be a nice costume. People won’t know who I am, but it will be fun."
Now that the cat is out of the bag, the Patriots superstar was a bit more open about the costume idea while speaking with WEEI on Monday. When it comes to dressing as the avocado or the toast, Brady joked that he'll go as "whatever costume fits."
Unfortunately this means that we won't see Brady go as Batman or Superman this year, despite his wife's recent Instagram post dressed as Wonder Woman.
