Venus Williams and Nicky Hammond have reportedly been in a relationship together for at least a year, but very few people know about her boyfriend and the couple probably wants to keep it that way.
We all know younger sister Serena Williams is married to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian but there’s not much information about Venus Williams’ boyfriend Nicholas Hammond.
The two have reportedly been together for a year and appear to be more private and reserved about their relationship. It seems that Venus and Nicky Hammond are getting serious because the 38-year-old tennis star was spotted with a ring on her finger.

Nicky Hammond is a financier and heir to Annenberg family
We know Nicholas Hammond comes from an extremely wealthy family. He is the son of socialite Anna Hammond who is the heiress of billionaire businessman and philanthropist Walter Annenberg. Annenberg owned and operated Triangle Publications, which is responsible for such publications as TV Guide, Seventeen magazine, and The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Nicky Hammond and Venus Williams have been together almost a year now. He was first spotted in the stands keeping a low profile during the Australian Open and last year at the U.S. Open. Hammond was also Venus Williams’ date in New Orleans during sister Serena’s wedding in November according to Page Six.
He is 12 years younger than Venus Williams
Venus Williams celebrated her 38th birthday on June 17 and her boyfriend is 26. To compare, Serena Williams is 36 and her husband Alexis Ohanian is 35.

Is Nicky Hammond engaged to Venus Williams?
According to Page Six, boyfriend Hammond did buy Williams a ring, but according to a source it’s a “friendship ring” to represent their commitment to each other and not an engagment ring, as many people have speculated.
“We have a firm commitment to one another to keep our relationship private,” Hammond told Page Six.”
As of now, it appears that Venus and Nicky Hammond are just keeping their relationship private. We have to wait to find out if there will be any wedding bells in the future.
